The annual NYS Disability Rights Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony and Dinner owes much of its success to its donors. When you donate an item for our auction, you join those who ensure people with disabilities have the right to self-determination, economic freedom, and full & equal participation in community life. All money raised will be used to support the Hall of Fame and future awards events, Pat Figueroa Scholarships, and the Leadership Development & Civic Engagement Program. We will acknowledge your donation in the event program.

What should I donate?

  • Gift certificates to a restaurant, tickets to a concert, overnight accommodations at a hotel, passes to a museum – anywhere that’s located in New York State and is fully accessible for people with disabilities.
  • Gift cards (to places like Amazon, iTunes & Target or to independently owned stores in your area)
  • Gift baskets, or items that can be combined to make a gift basket (like candles, honey, wine, books, mugs, t-shirts, etc.) especially things representing one of these regions of New York State:
  • North Country/Adirondacks
    • Capital District
    • Hudson Valley
    • NYC & LI
    • Central
    • Finger Lakes
    • Western
