ACL Approves Technical Edits to Amend the Current State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) to Add a Fourth Year

In mid-February 2023, ACL Region II Program Officer Jennifer Martin reviewed and approved the NY SPIL technical amendments to add a fourth year to the current plan, 2021-2024. An ACL formal approval letter will arrive in June. NYSILC has posted the approved, amended SPIL below and will upload the document in the Q90 portal by May 2023.

As a reminder, the Administration for Community Living (ACL) notified states and territories in October 2022 to amend their current SPIL for 2021-2023 to add a fourth year for 2024 to allow time to provide additional instructions for the SPIL template and to ensure the Q90 portal will be ready to upload the next 3-year SPIL for 2025-2027.
