NYSILC committees assist in developing the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) and making sure its goals and objectives are met. Committees work together toward a common goal of ensuring greater accessibility and independence, supporting the Centers for Independent Living (CILs) across the state, and coordinating activities with individual and organizational partners.
With the exception of the Executive Committee, committee participation is open to the public. To serve as a committee chair, you must be a council member.
