Statewide Consumer Satisfaction Survey

The 2021 Consumer Satisfaction Survey is a joint project of the New York State Independent Living Council (NYSILC) and Adult Center and Continuing Educational Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR). The survey encompasses both the federally funded Centers for Independent Living (CILs), and the Centers for Independent Living (CILs).

This data is collected and consolidated in order to measure the level of satisfaction that New York State consumers with disabilities have with the independent living services provided by the centers.

This survey is conducted in the first year of each State Plan (In this case, 2021). The report is based on 2020 contract-year center data for surveys sent out to identified Consumer Service Records (CSRs).  The survey process will begin later this year; NYSILC will notify centers of the steps needed to participate.
